We distribute $2,500-$10,000 startup grants to early-stage 501(c)(3) organizations, with a focus on reducing racial inequity and inequality in the United States through one or more of our core values.

Alongside the financial support, all grant recipients will receive six months of mentorship to fuel their launch growth.

We designed this grant program to give early-stage nonprofit leaders a launch pad to grow their world-changing ideas into revenue-generating, successful organizations.

The Russell Foundation only accepts requests for funding through our online application process and applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Applicants must have:

• An IRS determination as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization
• A focus on reducing racial inequity and inequality in the United States
• Initiatives, products, and/or programs that prioritize one or more of our core values
